Do you want your home to flourish, prosper, and succeed? Then, you must surround yourself with wise, biblical, godly counsel.

• Proverbs 11:14 “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.”
• Proverbs 24:6 “For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.”

Look at each of those phrases. There is failure without counsel. “There is safety” with counsel. Here are some more:

• Proverbs 20:18 “Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.”
• Proverbs 15:22 “Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.”

If you “purpose” to have a great, long lasting marriage and for your children to faithfully follow God all of their days, you need “wise counsel” and “good advice.” Otherwise, your “purposes are disappointed.” Only by counsel will your goals, dreams, and desires be “established.”
